Watch care: cleaning, water and batteries

A few habits keep a watch looking new for years. None of them take longer than a minute.

Watch care: cleaning, water and batteries

Cleaning the case

Wipe the case and glass with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. Avoid perfume and lotion directly on the case — they can dull the rose-gold finish over time.

Cleaning the strap

Remove the strap, hand-wash it in lukewarm water with mild soap, rinse and let it air-dry. Having a second strap means you’re never without one.

What 3 ATM means

Splash-resistant: rain, washing your hands, a spilled drink. Take it off for swimming, showering and the sauna.

Battery and service

The quartz battery lasts about two to three years. Any watchmaker can change it; the movement warranty runs two years from purchase.
